Ok, here we go:

Book: The Voyage to Ruin

Setting:

An elegant evening party, lots of fancy rich people in fancy rich clothes. Captain Zeal has just sunk the pirate ship Eschaton, and is surrounded by people offering their congratulations.

Characters:

Captain Zeal is in his mid-twenties, tall, slim build, long blond hair tied back with a ribbon. He is extremely good-looking, and should be wearing a Navy post captain's dress uniform with gold epaulettes. (For reference look at British Royal Navy uniforms c. 1805).

Miss Drake is about nineteen years old, petite build, with very white skin, green eyes, and short black hair that curls becomingly around her face. She normally wears men's clothing, but for this scene she should be dressed as befits a young maiden of good family. (Regency fashion is a good guide: high waists, long gloves, etc.)

A tatse of the writing:

"So you are the captain who sank the Eschaton?" asked a black-haired young beauty whom Zeal had not previously noticed.

Having once noticed her, he couldn't see how he might have overlooked her in the first place. She had a fine, proud look in her green eyes, a wry smile on her perfect pink lips. Her easy posture and her lithe figure bespoke a natural, unconscious grace, and he had a sudden, acute longing to see her dance.

"I am, Miss...?"

"Drake," she said, lowering her eyelashes with maidenly modesty, and holding out one slender white hand. "Franceline Drake."

"A pleasure," said Zeal, bowing over her hand, just brushing her knuckles with his lips.
